If someone truly has a literal devil inside them, it should be exorcised by a professional in the Church. Such a thing is not the individual's fault and needs no forgiveness.

If you are speaking metaphorically, we should all work on our inner demons and attempt to become better people, become truly repentant, and indeed would deserve forgiveness with enough work and if we truly change our ways..
